PRAISE REPORTS FROM THE MARCH 14, 2008 FAITH FACTOR POWER PRAYER GATHERING!

Grace and Peace To All:

To Our God be the Glory! The FAITH FACTOR POWER PRAYER GATHERING was indeed NOT a prayer meeting as usual!! Noooooooooooooo way!!! The FAITH FACTOR PRAISE DANCERS made their debut and they danced, danced and danced! Also on the following Saturday morning they made their first public appearance as they danced their testimonies at the A.W.E.S.O.M.E. Women's Conference in Queens , NY. WHEW and Amen!! Each attendee experienced an ushering in and a visitation of the Holy Spirit that ministered to their particular circumstances. Our PRAYER POWER GATHERING was hosted by one of our Sisters as we were her special guest in her new facility for her After School Programs and her Summer Kid's Care Programs...and what a grand building it is! To God be the Glory for the great things that He has done!!! I see that the Lord will be doing great things for His glory within those walls!! Our attendance increased and we had visitors from as far away as North Carolina--who may just be returning for our April 11, 2008 Power Prayer Gathering.... Our Spirits were uplifted and we were encouraged by a Melodic Word in song from one of our visiting Sisters! The testimonies were empowering as we are still dealing with "unforgiveness". The prayers offered up were powerful and sincere and our FAITH was assigned Works as the Rev. encouraged us---"to go and dig the ditches--in preparation for the rain!"... REMEMBER YOUR ASSIGNMENT: "YOU ARE TO OPEN A NEW SAVINGS ACCOUNT in preparation for the WEALTH TRANSFER!" I believe God expects us to live a Seed-Faith lifestyle—planting seeds and receiving harvests—in all areas of our lives. God’s kingdom is different from the world’s kingdom. In the kingdom of God, giving is the way to receive, dying is the way to live, and the last becomes first. God is a giver, and we are to model our lives after His example.Seed-Faith is a lifestyle. We give out of our need, in spite of circumstances, knowing that God is our Source. That’s what Isaac did in Genesis 26. He sowed seed in the midst of a terrible famine. He took a risk of faith. In other words, there was no earthly way he could reap a harvest, but Isaac put his faith in God as his Source. Isaac believed that God could take the seed he sowed and, in a supernatural way, multiply it back to him.Verses 12 and 13 niv say, Isaac planted crops in that land and the same year reaped a hundredfold, because the Lord blessed him. The man became rich, and his wealth continued to grow until he became very wealthy. In the midst of famine, in the middle of a drought, with the economy of Israel going down the drain, Isaac received a hundredfold. How did that happen?Isaac sowed seed and aimed it at his need, believing God to give him a bountiful harvest.Could you use a harvest such as the one Isaac received—a hundredfold return with the Lord’s blessing? Live by God’s Word. Believe that God is a good God, that He is faithful, and that He works beyond all you can ask or imagine. But most of all, believe that God loves you and wants to give back to you when you sow seeds of faith to Him!

My Declaration of Faith for Today
When it looks as if there’s no earthly way for my needs to be met, God can give me a bountiful harvest from the seeds I am sowing.

January 2008 BOOK SELECTION EXERPT:MOVING THE HAND OF GOD

This book is not about some new truth. It is about a principle that has been used by God's people in both the New Testament and the Old. It is about a neglected truth that has laid dormant in God's Word for the greater part of the last 2000 years. Praise God, is is dormant no longer! Innumerable times He most definitely does answer the prayers of His children. ....After considerable searching, I finally found two examples of Old Testament women whose long term prayers were not being answered: Hannah and the widow at Zarephath. They had something peculiar in common. They both did the same thing which instantly turned their unanswered prayers into answered prayers. When I found that similarity, I immediately realized I had made a breakthrough discovery. ....I am happy to say that after just a short time of further study, God revealed to me exactly how to move His hand to the point of need. I immediately shared what I had learned with the church member who got me started on my journey. In turn he put the principle to work in his life, and I was blessed to hear that God miraculously began to move in his situation. Before the end of six months, his prayer was totally answered. He later shared with me that he would never again approach God with a problem of great urgency without using the method of prayer I had shown him from the Word of God!!! CHAPTER 2: A NEW POWER PRAYER EMERGES! ....she vowed a vow, and said.....remember me I Samuel 1:11...... One of the first places my study took me was to Samuel's mother Hannah....Her prayer request was a simple one. She wanted to have a child!!!!

Extra Power

When I was a child, I received a great deal of my Christian upbringing from my grandfather, a wonderful man of God whom I loved dearly. He spoke with tongues, but I did not. As I grew older, I prayed, "Lord, I want to speak in tongues too." But the devil would say to me, "What do you need tongues for? You're doing fine without that." However, I knew it was scriptural as the disciples spoke in tongues on the Day of Pentecost. Acts 2 says, They were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues (v. 4).One day my mother gave me a book, which said, "If you do not have the Holy Spirit working in your life through speaking in tongues, you don't have all the power that God has for you." I knew Acts 1:8 said that we would receive power when the Holy Spirit came upon us, and I wanted that extra power! It's like driving a car on the freeway and putting it into overdrive. The car gets extra power, and it can really go! So I said, "I'm not going to listen to satan anymore. I want this power. God can give it to me, and He can do it today!" I began to praise God and thank Him for filling me with His Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. I starting speaking in tongues immediately, and I've done it every day since! God wants all of His children to have this extra power. If you're saved but you've never received this gift, you can receive it now. Pray, Father God, I ask You to fill me with Your Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. You can have all the power that God has for you!
