I believe God expects us to live a Seed-Faith lifestyle—planting seeds and receiving harvests—in all areas of our lives. God’s kingdom is different from the world’s kingdom. In the kingdom of God, giving is the way to receive, dying is the way to live, and the last becomes first. God is a giver, and we are to model our lives after His example.Seed-Faith is a lifestyle. We give out of our need, in spite of circumstances, knowing that God is our Source. That’s what Isaac did in Genesis 26. He sowed seed in the midst of a terrible famine. He took a risk of faith. In other words, there was no earthly way he could reap a harvest, but Isaac put his faith in God as his Source. Isaac believed that God could take the seed he sowed and, in a supernatural way, multiply it back to him.Verses 12 and 13 niv say, Isaac planted crops in that land and the same year reaped a hundredfold, because the Lord blessed him. The man became rich, and his wealth continued to grow until he became very wealthy. In the midst of famine, in the middle of a drought, with the economy of Israel going down the drain, Isaac received a hundredfold. How did that happen?Isaac sowed seed and aimed it at his need, believing God to give him a bountiful harvest.Could you use a harvest such as the one Isaac received—a hundredfold return with the Lord’s blessing? Live by God’s Word. Believe that God is a good God, that He is faithful, and that He works beyond all you can ask or imagine. But most of all, believe that God loves you and wants to give back to you when you sow seeds of faith to Him!

My Declaration of Faith for Today
When it looks as if there’s no earthly way for my needs to be met, God can give me a bountiful harvest from the seeds I am sowing.

In turn he put the principle to work in his life, and I was blessed to hear that God miraculously began to move in his situation. Before the end of six months, his prayer was totally answered. He later shared with me that he would never again approach God with a problem of great urgency without using the method of prayer I had shown him from the Word of God!!! CHAPTER 2: A NEW POWER PRAYER EMERGES! ....she vowed a vow, and said.....remember me I Samuel 1:11...... One of the first places my study took me was to Samuel's mother Hannah....Her prayer request was a simple one. She wanted to have a child!!!!

When I was a child, I received a great deal of my Christian upbringing from my grandfather, a wonderful man of God whom I loved dearly. He spoke with tongues, but I did not. As I grew older, I prayed, "Lord, I want to speak in tongues too." But the devil would say to me, "What do you need tongues for? You're doing fine without that." However, I knew it was scriptural as the disciples spoke in tongues on the Day of Pentecost. Acts 2 says, They were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues (v. 4).One day my mother gave me a book, which said, "If you do not have the Holy Spirit working in your life through speaking in tongues, you don't have all the power that God has for you." I knew Acts 1:8 said that we would receive power when the Holy Spirit came upon us, and I wanted that extra power! It's like driving a car on the freeway and putting it into overdrive. The car gets extra power, and it can really go! So I said, "I'm not going to listen to satan anymore. I want this power. God can give it to me, and He can do it today!" I began to praise God and thank Him for filling me with His Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. I starting speaking in tongues immediately, and I've done it every day since! God wants all of His children to have this extra power. If you're saved but you've never received this gift, you can receive it now. Pray, Father God, I ask You to fill me with Your Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. You can have all the power that God has for you!

THE POWER PRAYER GATHERING 02/01/08

2008 is.....The Year of The Open Gate and A New Beginning.....Let’s set ourselves in agreement for a victorious year in all areas of our lives beginning with the power of prayer.

The Year 2008........I believe is also deemed the year of a "Double Portion"...( 4 + 4 = 8 ). Hence the spiritual significance of the number 8 being:The Year of the Open Gate and The Year of A New Beginning! In Hebrew the number eight is symbolic of new beginnings, a fresh start, regeneration and rebirth, to make fat, super abundant fertility, to super-abound in endeavors, in financial abundance and in strength. Just as the spiritual significance of seven (7) was so called because it is the number of completion-- then the number eight (8) which is one number over and above the perfect number seven (7); determines The Year of A New Beginning with endless possibilities with help from Almighty God.

What is it that really moves the Hand of God?

• How do you pray for financial increase in a way that gets God's attention...and brings results!
• How do you pray for your marriage restoration and happiness in your life?
• Did you know that there are really prayers for healing for yourself and your loved ones?
• Are there things within your destiny which seem impossible?
• Is there any desire that you have that needs to be accessed with a diligent pursuit in prayer?

I have good news!!! There is a Power that shakes the very Heavens that I like to refer to as Kingdom Dynamics. It is called PRAYER!! This is one of the greatest-unclaimed resources that we as Christians have in our arsenal. This power of prayer should NEVER be underestimated!

1 John 5:14-15 tells us, "This (the prayer of faith) is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that he hears us - whatever we ask - we know that we have what we asked of him.....(He answers!!!) WHEW and Amen! The power of prayer draws upon the glory and the might of The Infinite Powerful God. No matter what--God answers prayers that are in agreement with His will.

No matter what is His answer; it is always in our best interest and for our benefit. Powerful prayers and powerful requests that are presented unto God along with powerful petitions should be void of anxiety and are always presented to Him full of thanksgiving! (Philippians 4:6-7) This is what makes them effective and powerful.

The Word of God is full of accounts describing the power of prayer in various situations. The power of prayer has overcome enemies (Psalm 6:9-10), conquered death (2 Kings 4:3-36), brought healing (James 5:14-15), and defeated demons (Mark 9:29). God, through prayer, opens eyes, changes hearts, heals wounds, and grants wisdom (James 1:5).

$UPERNATURAL FINANCIAL RESOLUTIONS vs REVELATION

How many of us make New Year's resolutions that last only a couple of days or a few weeks at most? When you make a resolution relying on self-determination to pull you through, however well intentioned, it almost always fails. Jesus said, The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. (Matthew 26:41) Is it any wonder, then, that success based on our willpower eludes us?Most resolutions are remarkably similar. We vow to lose weight, get in shape, begin a savings plan, read the Bible through in a year, or have an established time with the Lord every day. All of these are worthwhile goals that would bring honor to the Lord. Why, then, are we unable to make lasting changes in the areas in which we desire to see victory?I think it's because rather than making a resolution, we need God to give us a revelation of our need to change. When God reveals His will to us through His Word, and we ask Him to empower us with His strength and might, we can succeed. Romans 8:27 NKJV says, We are more than conquerors through Him [Jesus Christ] who loved us. Suddenly a New Year's resolution that didn't have a chance to succeed becomes a New Year's revelation that is successful through God's power within us. Then the lasting changes we desire are suddenly possible.

Through the power of Jesus Christ, I am able to make changes in my life where I desire to see victory.
